This bursary is for people based in regional B.C., anywhere outside the Lower Mainland, who are looking to break into the film industry through an entry-level, Below-the-Line role.
Eligibility
Individuals applying must meet the following basic eligibility criteria:
- Pursuing a Below-the-Line career in the motion picture industry
- 19+ years of age
- B.C. resident
- Have not previously taken the Motion Picture Industry Orientation Program (MPIO)
- Have primary residency, outside of the Lower Mainland of B.C., in one of the following regional locations:
- Vancouver Island South
- Vancouver Island North
- Okanagan
- Thompson-Nicola
- Kootenay
- Cariboo Chilcotin Coast
- Columbia Shuswap
- Northern B.C.
Details
One bursary per eligible applicant covering the Motion Picture Industry Orientation Program (MPIO) for a total value of $155+GST CAD ($162.75 CAD).
There is a maximum of (10) ten MPIO certificates available per region.
